Spring 2012

So much has been happening already this Spring, and it seems like Spring has barely begun!  Audrey had her first dance recital, the school year is coming to an end, we took a day trip to the mountains, spent a weekend at the family cabin - all within a couple of weeks!  The first pictures posted are from our weekend at the cabin. We went up on a Friday night and home on a Sunday morning, but it was just enough time to feel like were able to relax for a couple of days and get work out of our minds.

While at the cabin we went for a little walk down the road, which is where I got some of these cute outdoor pictures. The kids really enjoyed their little walk, though the highway isn't far away and every time a big truck or motorcycle would drive by, Audrey would freak  out and cling to someone for a little while.

Audrey and Kellen love to play on the piano.  Here are a few recent shots of them making music together.

Sibling hug! This is my favorite picture of them!

Audrey had her first dance recital this week.  Her little dance group danced to Winnie the Pooh's "Rumbly in my Tumbly." She just loves to get all dressed up and put make-up on! She's Momma's little girly-girl! We sure wish more people could have made it to her performance, but I'll try to post a video on here (if it's not too long). The video isn't the best quality, and it's a little shaky, AND her teacher came and sat right in front of me and I couldn't move, so it's a little hard to see what's going on.

This past weekend we took at trip up to a little camp-ground above Idaho City and had a picnic.  It's the same little camp ground I have camped  at much of my life, and where we had a Father's Day picnic when my Dad came up from Texas shortly after Matt and I got married.  It was a delightful little trip, and the kids really had a blast running around and climbing on rocks.

Matt singed his hair on the camp fire!

Giving Matt attitude.
